The “Spirit” of Westfield High School

Every high school has a spirit organization to support them, and Westfield is High School is no exception.  The difference is that Westfield’s cheer team is second to none! 

They begin their season shortly after spring break, and continue their grueling training and preparation through out the summer to ensure that all Westfield Athletic Clubs are supported with a high level of spirit and energy. 

This past year, Westfield Cheerleaders attended their first competition in six years, and in perfect Mustang fashion, they were triumphant.  They presented a great performance, and walked away with a first place trophy. 

Their goal this year is to go one step further, and attend the highly competitive Cheerleading Nationals in San Antonio where they will compete with high school squads from around the country for championship sized bragging rights. 

Westfield Cheerleaders also give back within our district, by volunteering to teach our Elementary School Cheerleaders by the best that they can be. 

Bottom line, The Westfield Cheerleading Program is a stellar program with great tradition that will continue to grow and maintain the highest level of excellence.
